Adventures with Dr. Lady Cutie Troublemaker

Life is in flux BIG TIME these days. I want to keep in touch with all of my peeps. The Internet is this beautiful thing. I can move to a brand new city and still stay in easy, near-daily contact with the people I love. When I feel connected to the people in my life that matter, I am unstoppable!

Life Accomplishment Alert

I just e-mailed a PDF of my completed dissertation (with all required revisions) to my chair. I’m particularly proud of my copyright page. $45? I won’t pay you no stinking $45 to copyright my work. I’m way more hip than that! Here’s the ladybugged version:

I sure hope he’s happy with all he sees so I can just submit it. Cross your fingers!

Now for some sort of treat, then I have to get cracking on yet another psych report! Will the fun ever start?!

Neck in Neck

By Abby at 7:19 am on Tuesday, July 19, 2005

Dish and Bar-B-Q Shop are neck in neck! Unless, of course, Aaron is running around Nashville voting for the Bar-B-Q Shop!

Update: While I was posting that, Dish pulled ahead!

I’m #328! I’m #328!

By Abby at 7:00 am on Monday, July 18, 2005

Of all the people using del.icio.us, my tags have the 328th most meaningful influence, meaning I’m the 328th most helpful person using del.icio.us! How weird.

There was a time when Tribe was young when I was the #1 poster, and when Tribe had 100,000 users, I was still #2. I think that’s not a good sign for a person who was working on her dissertation. 🙁

In other Abby’s-Internet-addiction news, I was the first person to got a free premium Peanut Butter Wiki account. I love my wikis (duh!), and I shared my little referral sammich with you all, never expecting I’d get so many clicks.

Won’t things be different when I have time for a real social life?! But at least I’ll have archival evidence for the future! "Ah, remember Abby’s cute Internet addiction?!" I’ll have to find another outlet for my frenetic energy!
