Adventures with Dr. Lady Cutie Troublemaker

Life is in flux BIG TIME these days. I want to keep in touch with all of my peeps. The Internet is this beautiful thing. I can move to a brand new city and still stay in easy, near-daily contact with the people I love. When I feel connected to the people in my life that matter, I am unstoppable!

AHA! I think I’ve cracked it!

Dianne’s response asking about whether Brooke Shields went to Princeton (yes, she did) prompted me to look up Tom’s bio. Check THIS out:

After graduating, Cruise had no desire to go to college. Instead, he moved to New York and supported himself by doing odd jobs–including busing tables and loading trucks–while attending open calls for stage and film roles. His first part was a small one, a few lines in the movie "Endless Love," starring Brooke Shields and Martin Hewitt. (found here)

Methinks SOMEONE is trying to overcompensate for a little childhood jealousy. I’m just saying.

And I apologize for my inability to stop posting about this stupid topic. Please be tolerant. I am under great stress!

I coulda told you Brooke went to Princeton.

When I arrived at boarding school (8 miles from Princeton) the weird kid who had the room next to mine had recently made the news for stalking Ms. Shields on her campus.

Sadly, his name was *also* Walter, but there was no confusing the two of us.

Oh man! Were there any mixups regarding which Walter was the stalker?

Thankfully, no. He was a teenaged Travis Bickle, down to the well-worn army jacket. I was a “good kid” (read: too afraid to break the rules) who got through boarding school with only two demerits.

Yes, they actually gave out freaking demerits. Pathetic.

Demerits. It’s like a movie or something.
