Adventures with Dr. Lady Cutie Troublemaker

Life is in flux BIG TIME these days. I want to keep in touch with all of my peeps. The Internet is this beautiful thing. I can move to a brand new city and still stay in easy, near-daily contact with the people I love. When I feel connected to the people in my life that matter, I am unstoppable!

It’s the Little Things…

Isn’t it amazing how such a small thing can make one so very happy. For seven years, I wore these socks. I just picked them up at my local grocery store, Bloomingfoods, in the course of regular shopping trips. I took these socks for granted – that is, until I moved away. I thought I knew the brand name. I looked all over for them, but I never found them. I didn’t put in too very much effort. I mean, I could have called Bloomingfoods and asked, but it never seemed all that important. Last weekend, I was in Bloomington, and I went into my old favorite grocery store, and there they were. I bought three 3-packs. Every day since, I’ve put on a fresh pair of these babies, and I’m a happier woman for it. They are so soft, just the right height. This blog post is a gift to myself, so I never ever forget how to track these down. And so, to that end…

Dear Abby of the Future,

Here is the information for how to locate those great organic cotton ankle length socks you love so much. You won’t remember how much you hate the other socks, but trust me. You DO! It’s worth the extra buck a pair. These are the ones. They are deliciously comfortable, and they last nearly an eternity. Nearly.

Love,

Abby of the Past
