Life is in flux BIG TIME these days. I want to keep in touch with all of my peeps. The Internet is this beautiful thing. I can move to a brand new city and still stay in easy, near-daily contact with the people I love. When I feel connected to the people in my life that matter, I am unstoppable!

Katy Broke Her Arm At Derby Practice Tonight

By Abby at 11:49 pm on Friday, June 22, 2007

Poor Baby :(

It is going to be a four month recovery. Now she can’t try out for the Carolina Rollergirls next month. Her new boyfriend (J.D.) is moving in for the weekend to play nurse. She has to have surgery on Monday. She’s in pain but on good drugs. I’m working on getting flowers and visitors organized. Damn, poor thing. She was REALLY excited about this.

She posted this as a MySpace bulletin:

i broke my arm at roller skating practice tonight. i have multiple fractures to my left arm just above the elbow. this will require surgery (SURGERY!) which will take place on sunday monday. jd is wonderful and is taking excellent care of me. call if you like. i’ll be around. not allowed to go back to work before july 1.

Oh, Katy! I’m so sorry! That completely sucks. How did it happen? Were you doing a crossover? I’m sure Savage has got everything covered, but if you need anything, shoot me an email. Hope the surgery went well! Riva
