Adventures with Dr. Lady Cutie Troublemaker

Life is in flux BIG TIME these days. I want to keep in touch with all of my peeps. The Internet is this beautiful thing. I can move to a brand new city and still stay in easy, near-daily contact with the people I love. When I feel connected to the people in my life that matter, I am unstoppable!

Revelations From This Morning

By Abby at 12:33 pm on Thursday, May 31, 2007

I have learned (or confirmed) several things this morning:

  • Baking banana bread is more complex a task than I was ready for this morning
  • Whole Foods does not sell Baking Soda
  • Neither does Eckerd’s Drug Store
  • The Jack Daniels convenience store does sell eggs
  • I am the most ADD person alive
  • My mother is a good listener (except when Dad is talking to her in the background)
  • Blogging about how difficult organic herb gardening is going to be in North Carolina is not the best use of my time

If being ADD helped me keep up on tech stuff and news the way you do, plus made me as productive as you are, plus as good at making friends as you are, I would HAPPILY be struck with ADD!

Speaking of ADD, the synthesized podcast is the perfect complement to the post, what with the run-on bulleted lists – hilarious!

And I see you weren’t kidding about being prolific (blogging or taking pics)! Anyway, love what you’re doing… awesome stuff. Went ahead and subscribed.. 🙂

Cheers!

Haha. Thanks, Spidra. I’m good at shifting. Not so good at staying in gear. It’s a curse and a blessing. ‘Tis true.

Thanks for visiting, Rich. I see you saw rule #8. I’m assuming you’re Indie Film Meetup Rich. I got a great picture of you last night. Will get to it when I’m done making this online scrapbook of neurotransmitters. I swear, I can’t sit and read that crap. Who are they kidding?!

Rule #8?? Ummm… help!! haha

Anyway, yes, Indie Film Meetup Rich, at your service. Except when it comes to neurotransmitters. Why not just feed those neurotransmitters a little dopamine so that they will mind and sit still for the scrapbook?

Oh, THAT Rule #8. OK, I think I’ve just revealed myself as being a fellow ADD sufferer (or maybe just as a typical male)

There’s a very big difference between the two! I don’t feed the brain dopamine. I feed it methylphenidate. Just what the doctor ordered.

I’ve never been in that Jack Daniel’s convenience store. I’ll have to check it out.

You’re not missing much. It sounds like more fun than it actually is.
