Adventures with Dr. Lady Cutie Troublemaker

Life is in flux BIG TIME these days. I want to keep in touch with all of my peeps. The Internet is this beautiful thing. I can move to a brand new city and still stay in easy, near-daily contact with the people I love. When I feel connected to the people in my life that matter, I am unstoppable!

Adventures with Dr. Lady Cutie Pumpkin Carver

So it’s a little long (10 minutes), but if nothing else, watch the first two for the new and viral Halloween song by yours truly! ๐Ÿ˜€

A few things to add: I worry that the Ramadan silliness may be taken the wrong way. We’d already been talking about the problem with making Halloween sacred, and we’d turned to a discussion of how silly it would be to make sacred holidays non-sacred. I think I tend to edit in a strictly chronological way since I’m such a beginnier. It took so long to get it the way it is that by the time I realized it would make more sense a little out of order, I’d completely run out of steam!

I also wanted to share a few pictures of the resulting food that came from this lovely pumpkin:

Halloween definitely needs more songs. I mean Monster Mash only takes you so far.

Yum! Those pumpkin seeds look really good — what’s on them? Are they roasted? With lots of sugar??

Oh, and the seeds were soaked in heavily salted water, patted dry, tossed with a little olive oil, salted, then baked. SOOOOO amazingly good.
