This thing is really cool, although I really wish it weren’t so wide, or at least that it was more tweakable. That way, it would fit in my sidebar…
Unlikely Source of Cool Thing
OK, I admit it. I’ve been watching So You Think You Can Dance. The dancing is excellent, and a lot of the choreography is surprisingly innovative. I was REALLY taken aback by how cool the opening dance was a few days ago. I’ve found myself playing it again and again on my TiVo. In addition to amazing choreography by Wade Robson, the song they used is super-cool. Upon first hearing, it reminded me a lot of the music from The Triplets of Belleville. It’s Ramalama (Bang Bang) by Roisin Murphy, former lead singer of Moloko. Her voice reminds me very much of Beth Gibbons of Portishead (who, incidentally, are set to release their first new album in 9 years!). I don’t buy singles from iTunes all that much, but this was one of those times.

I’m Pretty Proud of These

R.I.P., Littermaid, 2002 - 2006
My Littermaid litterbox was the best, but over the past month, I’ve learned that these things don’t work forever. Despite several very thorough cleanings, it has died. I had to find an affordable replacement, and what I found is just silly. It’s hot pink with a big heart entrance. The girls are starting to adjust, but they aren’t quite sure they like it.
