Adventures with Dr. Lady Cutie Troublemaker

Life is in flux BIG TIME these days. I want to keep in touch with all of my peeps. The Internet is this beautiful thing. I can move to a brand new city and still stay in easy, near-daily contact with the people I love. When I feel connected to the people in my life that matter, I am unstoppable!

Blah Blah Series

So do you remember this picture? I took it when I lived in Memphis and have it uploaded to Flickr. I got an e-mail from someone who wanted to use it for an educational product, and I said yes, as long as they sent me the final copy of what they’d created. Well, the guy followed through. Check it out, and maybe even learn something in the process!

That was freaking awesome! We had a good laugh and now we’re going to knock off to the pub while having a pint talking about google scholar.

That is so awesome, and everyone should ask “Has the web page loaded in your browser?” when they are offering tips on the web.

Dude…that is super cool but the coolest part is that I hadn’t seen Google scholar and I just used it to do some research and it’s going to make me look WICKED SMAHT!!!

I LOVE Google Scholar and used it often when I was working on my dissertation. It was released just in time. Glad I could help you to learn! 😀

We’ll release more of these online lessons soon, watch this space: http://www.bbk.ac.uk/lib/life/skills

Next learning object up: How to use Windows Academic Live (Google Scholar’s upcoming competitor – competition is good)

And thanks to Abby for her camera work and willingness to help! – keep posting stuff under Creative Commons Licenses, especially Copyleft (it gives us educational people a fighting chance!).

I love being part of this. My doctorate is from a school of education, so I completely approve! 😀

I LOVE it! The little Abby with the English accent grew up to have an English accent after all, only the tone of the voice is all wrong. That was really fun to watch. By the way, I’m using that Creative Commons License too.
