I sure am hungry!
Thanks, Adam. 😀
Today is National Get Over It Day. No, I’m not kidding. There is even a kinda dumb video for it:
"Get Over It Day is a new holiday taking place on March 9th (the exact mid-point between Valentine’s Day and April Fool’s Day) because, at one time or another, EVERYONE has SOMETHING to get over! (regardless of what – or whom – "it" may be for you)."
The timing couldn’t be better. I’m not saying. I’m just saying.
"Get your game on" in the Boston Globe Sidekick today, pages 8 and 9. I decided to use my real name, because you can’t do a search for my last name and end up at this blog location, and that’s really the point. I’m right behind Sooz in the picture! Next game night is tonight. I’ll be there, although I’m hoping to cruise Neighbors for Neighbors’ event at Doyle’s, too.
I’ve added a Quotes page to the sidebar. I don’t intend to make a point of announcing every time I add something to it, so if you want to keep track, remember to subscribe to this feed.
Is it bugging anyone else that they are playing music during the speeches during the Oscars?
And what’s up with Lauren Bacall? Is she unwell?
I’ve barely seen any movies in the last few years. I watched Kinsey the night before last. I’d waited so long to see it, and to me, it was just OK. I was hoping for better since I’d finally put in some effort. So I’m hoping to catch up a little bit. I thought maybe I should check out some of the Best Picture nominees. You can help me:
Or maybe I should try another movie from this year, outside of the Best Picture nominees. Suggestions?
