Adventures with Dr. Lady Cutie Troublemaker

Life is in flux BIG TIME these days. I want to keep in touch with all of my peeps. The Internet is this beautiful thing. I can move to a brand new city and still stay in easy, near-daily contact with the people I love. When I feel connected to the people in my life that matter, I am unstoppable!

Best Blogger Bash Ever!

By Abby at 10:27 pm on Friday, July 29, 2005

Even if Rachel did duck into dinner across the street! Whatevs…

I’m too tired for captions and links and such, but this ought to hold you for a little bit! Someone else should do a little blog roll if you’re up tonight! And you should all add yourself to my little guest map.

Abby, I had a great time and will miss you here in Memphis. But best of luck and happiness in the Beantown. BTW, your mom rocks!

I like her!

Thanks, Karen. Good pictures are always important, especially for the people who don’t get to join us. 😀

Wonderful pictures, but you should tell your dad that smoking will stunt his growth. These pictures are indicative of the rare times you don’t mind living in places that aren’t so highly thought of because they often have this kind of camaraderie to offset the area. Or maybe it’s because of the area.
Remember these folks as you go on, as they, and others, worked with you through those times when you thought your progress was nil. You’ll find a bunch more just like them everywhere you go. But those southern folks just have a certain flair about them. This should be the time you are thankful for the communication advances we have. It’ll be so much easier to keep in contact with these people, regardless of where you light.
G’luck to you and Aaron.

Abby’s Mom: It was a wonderful time for me too. If you and Dr. Dad ever get back to Memphis please let me know; I’d be honored to buy you both dinner or drinks….

Abby and Aaron: that sixth picture down from the top (the close up of the two of you) perfectly illustrates why I’ve referred to the two of you as “the Platonic Idea of the perfect couple”. Memphis will be much the lesser for your departure. And the same offer’s open to you that I made to your mom and dad: let me know if you ever get back here….

Thanks, Len. 😀

It was such a fun blogger bash. If I can get myself organized, maybe we can have another one before I go. I mean, a girl needs her barbecue!

Say when, and I’m there. Especially if ‘cue is on the menu.

Hah! Blame EJ for that mixup. Yes, let’s go out. I’m in Nashville next weekend, but after that, I’m here until I’m not. You missed a good one.

I had a great time and it was wonderful to see everyone. Dish is the bee’s knees, great food, great bevs, great folks. I couldn’t have had a better time if I had simply sat at home watching Family Guy reruns!

Ok, well, this was a little better than that anywyas…..lol
