Adventures with Dr. Lady Cutie Troublemaker

Life is in flux BIG TIME these days. I want to keep in touch with all of my peeps. The Internet is this beautiful thing. I can move to a brand new city and still stay in easy, near-daily contact with the people I love. When I feel connected to the people in my life that matter, I am unstoppable!

Memphis Blogger Bash

So very tired, but I’ll use the remaining energy I have to post the pictures I took tonight. I showed up with nearly dead batteries, so it isn’t my usual insane number of pictures, but it’ll do…

If you want access to bigger sizes of these pictures, then click here. Sorry I didn’t clean them up too much, but it’s late!

Oh, and Mike and Mark stopped by right as I was saying goodbye to Trisha. Mike was bumming that he’d missed his big opportunity to meet Chris and the second Rachel. Hey, at least he tried! Better luck next time, Mike!

Oh, and just in case I don’t get a chance in the next few days to follow this up, I want to thank Karen for the extremely generous gift. When I get these bookends out and put up on a shelf, I’ll be sure to take a picture and post it. She made them herself, and they are lovely. She even gave me a gift certificate to Barnes & Noble to get some books to put in between. What a great gift and a great surprise. My cup runneth over. 😀

I thought, “I should blog about this” and then watched Lost instead. It was only after the first 45 minutes that I realized it was the two-hour finale and.. well… my night is shot. Gotta get up early.

Congrats again!

It’s OK, E.J. You maintain your pithy title.

I ate barbecue spaghetti. Duh!

ROFL, pithy. That word….wow, my indie rock hipster wanna-be beard isn’t so bad. I’ll feel good when I shave it, though.

Hoping that if you have the time, you might tell those of us who don’t know who is in each picture. Looks like you had a grand time.

Oh puhleez! You should see the reject pictures. Ugh. I think you have the same problem as me. You’re a little monochromatic with a little camera anxiety. I’m pretty happy about the one goof pic of me this time. Not always the case. The only reason there are any good ones of me is pure volume!

[…] Ok, so I guess it’s true what I learned about myself last night at the Memphis Blogger Bash — I really don’t update very often. I can’t decide if it’s because I think my life is boring or because I don’t want to open up the cavernous pit of my mind to people quite so much. Either way, I’ve decided to take a few minutes to get over the whole fear of flying to get down on it with everyone. […]
