The bass line of “Three Days” by Jane’s Addiction has been in my head all day.

I actually remembering seeing this when it first aired. The song is an old favorite of mine. It has very little to do with my exam, but the title triggered the bass line. I had the bass line in my head for quite a while before it came to me why I was humming it.

Just caught Ariana Huffington on The Henry Rollins Show. My dad’s really into her. I know she’s on the right side, but as you may or may not know, I am generally very avoidant of politics. It always makes me so cranky, especially with an administration like this one. Anyway, periodically, I like to plug my dad’s blog, 1 Boring Old Man, because I know most of my friends are liberals and are less politically avoidant than I. He’s been on a roll. I’m seeing multiple posts daily. The man’s wise. This, I know to be true. And plus, where else will you get the perspective of a psychoanalyst on the current political climate? Go.

Hadn’t used the video on my camera much lately. Broke the habit today, I guess. Katy took this as we were leaving the Rosebuds gig at the Raleigh Music Hall, and a man asked us to watch his drums. I finished tons of work today, so I went and saw people. I’m afraid to make plans, but when I get everything accomplished, it’s REALLY hard to keep me from finding a way to see people!
