Scenes From Yesterday
Because words aren’t the only way to communicate:
After about 24 hours of not leaving my apartment, I decided I’d had enough and went out last night. Going out today, too, to a special thing I’m VERY excited about. Brian and Shannon had invited me along to a real North Carolina Pig Pickin’. This is my first one, even though for years, we had a pig roast. I hear it’s the same thing, but I’m still interested to see how the people who claim the tradition do it. It’s going to be 5 hours in the car, so I’m bringing Dramamine and a lot of flash cards. Stupid flash cards. I’m starting to really hate them.

Also hope Jeep is much better. Crossing fingers all around-your test too.
