Adventures with Dr. Lady Cutie Troublemaker

Life is in flux BIG TIME these days. I want to keep in touch with all of my peeps. The Internet is this beautiful thing. I can move to a brand new city and still stay in easy, near-daily contact with the people I love. When I feel connected to the people in my life that matter, I am unstoppable!

More tomorrow. It’s way past my bedtime! Thanks, Rachel, for getting me out. I probably would have flaked. That would have been extremely lame of me!

Beepollen for the Boy

By Abby at 6:48 pm on Thursday, June 2, 2005

Poor Aaron has been working his ass off over the last coupla weeks. I can’t wait until he’s done with this project. He’s editing the Gospel Music Awards show. I always thought of Gospel music as a specific genre with certain qualities, but it seems that nowadays, Gospel music is any kind of love songs written to Jesus. There is Thrash Gospel and Rockin’ Gospel and Pop Gospel.

Insomnia & Sketti

By Abby at 8:31 am on Wednesday, May 25, 2005

I wrote this at about 4am, but my Internet was down. It was still down this morning, but this morning, Aaron fixed it with his big brain.

When one has insomnia, one does not like it when one’s network is down, although it is probably better for one.

Don’t forget to come and get some barbecue with me and the rest of the Memphis bloggers tonight at the Bar-B-Q Shop on Madison. Sadly, Aaron can’t make it. This mean man has given him a job worth much money, and so he must stay in Nashville to finish it. Still, I will be there. Will it be a Pulled Pork Sammich? Or will I horrify everyone and get the Bar-B-Q Spaghetti?! Come out tonight to find out!
