Adventures with Dr. Lady Cutie Troublemaker

Jon asked, and so I deliver. Of COURSE I took pictures!

My old license, surrendered yesterday (no time to take a pic of the new one now, but I’ll get to it):

I’m taking her DMV photo since the camera wasn’t working! And the multi-tasking DMV employee…

The DMV when I was the only “customer” remaining:

• Can barely believe was able to find NC voter reg, expired passport, proof of car ins, & my ss card. It’s an A.D.D. miracle! DMV here I come!
• Only 8 mnths for me 2 get arnd 2 this. :S
• at dmv. 2 girls loading on black eyeliner, presumably 4 dl pic. nice! dude next to me smells like ashtray!
• 100% on driver’s license test w 1/2 hr study. much better than the 300 hr min for the natl psych licensure exam. lines r boring. yawn…
• i so want 2 help the dmv man having trouble w pyooter. alt-f4! alt-f4! & quit freaking out, lady! all of us in line r laughing. gettin silly.

End result? I now have a North Carolina driver’s license. w00t!

I went to high school with some highly talented individuals. Recently, an old classmate of mine uploaded some videos from the senior banquet to YouTube after some discussion of said video on the little social networking site I created for the upcoming 20 year reunion. This one is my favorite (of course my favorite isn’t the one that shows my horrible 80s hair!). Seriously, check this shit out:

Went to a real North Carolina Pig Pickin’ yesterday with Brian and Shannon in Union Grove, NC. It was held by Grammy Award winning dobro player, Tut Taylor and his wife. Lots of great bluegrass and food. Saw a lovely sunset. Here’s a version of it pumped up on steroids (thanks to Photoshop):
