Adventures with Dr. Lady Cutie Troublemaker

Life is in flux BIG TIME these days. I want to keep in touch with all of my peeps. The Internet is this beautiful thing. I can move to a brand new city and still stay in easy, near-daily contact with the people I love. When I feel connected to the people in my life that matter, I am unstoppable!

Technamazing!

Can you take the amount of coolness that this link is offering you? Can you rise to the technical challenge? Because it is TOTALLY worth it. Seriously. I’m completely blown away.

So I can go to Google Maps, find an area (say, the place where I am moving), then I click on local search at the top. In the "what" box, I type in what I’m looking for – say "restaurants." Then lots of those little red balloons pop up. I click on one, and there is a picture of the FRONT of the restuarant, right below the address. Unreal!

Oh, and I am also watching the hurricane with the weather filter I downloaded for my Google Earth. This is a fine time to be alive! Well, except for that pesky hurricane headed this way!

What effect did you get from Hurricane Dennis? It has rained endlessly and heavily here. Tonight we’re having our first respite since Saturday evening.

Just nothing, although I have been inside a lot. But a little rain yesterday. I haven’t even heard thunder or had to use my rainjacket.
