Adventures with Dr. Lady Cutie Troublemaker

Life is in flux BIG TIME these days. I want to keep in touch with all of my peeps. The Internet is this beautiful thing. I can move to a brand new city and still stay in easy, near-daily contact with the people I love. When I feel connected to the people in my life that matter, I am unstoppable!

Memphis Living Room Panorama Small.jpg

OK, so I’m a little bit messy, but isn’t my living room pretty? I recently discovered a fun little panorama program that I’ve been playing around with. Aaron was really taken with it, too, and he took a series of pictures of the living room. Here’s another panorama picture I took at the Memphis Botanical Garden on Saturday by the duck pond:

Fun! I think you’ll be seeing way more of these before the thrill of the panorama ends!

How does this work? I want it! I’ve fantasized about owning a panorama camera for years. I’ve even stood in one place and taken multiple shots then literally pasted them together. Of course these days I do it digitally. 🙂

It’s VERY cool. In the past, I’ve used programs that cost several thousand dollars to do this sort of thing and they worked well but required lots of work and they were very picky about the photos.

The other day, Abby found a program that does it all automatically. I was stunned. You can just put in a bunch of photos from a location (even photos that are incorrectly from another place) and it will make amazing shots and rather quickly.

It could not be simpler. I absolutely love it.

So did you guys do this with the series of pictures from the Arcade Restaurant when we visited in January? Just in case you had forgotten about those… 🙂

That was actually the first one that was done. Abby did it and I was knocked out by the software. Maybe she’ll put that one up, too.

Liz,

I did that one, but the colors are kind of weird. I’ll send you a copy so you can see.
