ANYWAY…
I’m very excited about the wedding pictures I got today from Poornima and Nanu. Man, GORGEOUS! I’m so bummed I couldn’t go, but it was kinda outta the price range! It’s so funny, because they don’t usually look so traditionally Indian. I left them a voice mail earlier that said, “You guys are all Indian ‘n’ shit.” I knew they’d think that was funny, but then I got really worried, because I said it walking around my office, and I was worried for a minute that someone might have heard and thought I was completely offensive! Luckily, I was safe. Phew!
In celebration of the pictures, I made Poha, another one of the many Indian recipes Sunitha taught me. I know Poha isn’t exactly wedding food, but it was all I could really manage!
