I don't get reception in certain spots around my house, and if I leave my BlackBerry in those areas, it shuts the "Mobile Network" connection off to save the battery. (Otherwise it dies after a couple hours of searching in vain for a signal). When I re-enter an area that gets service, I just have to go to "Manage Connections" and check the box for "Mobile Network" to turn it back on - otherwise it would never pick up a signal until I power-cycle it. Hopefully it is something simple like that for you, as well. And as for Problem 6, I just experienced that myself this weekend when I installed Chronograph! Suddenly I couldn't make it through even one day out of the house on a charge. And charging itself took probably twice as long as usual. Ugh.
