Flickrheads! Steal My Idea!
So Andy just Twittered that he copied my idea, and you know, I’d love it if all my favorite photographers copied it, too. Make sure you’re logged into Flickr, then go to SmartSetr, a site I just love (although I wish the creator would update it more and be a little more responsive, to be honest). There, create a new smart set. Call it Best of 2008. The type of smart set is probably going to be Date Taken, although you can choose Date Posted if you prefer. Then pick photos visible to everyone, sorted by Interesting Descending, then pick how many pictures you want in the set. I usually make those sets in multiples of 6 because (1) it’s a cool film-like number and (2) it makes the rows nice and even. Set the dates for all of last year. Then once you’re done, it’ll all save to Flickr. Happy happy! Just remember that you need to edit that set from within SmartSetr, not Flickr, or it’ll get messed up. Here’s Andy’s set: Link and here’s mine.

Oh I didn’t know you created a “smart set”. I just made one with the pics I liked the best and what not.
