Adventures with Dr. Lady Cutie Troublemaker

Life is in flux BIG TIME these days. I want to keep in touch with all of my peeps. The Internet is this beautiful thing. I can move to a brand new city and still stay in easy, near-daily contact with the people I love. When I feel connected to the people in my life that matter, I am unstoppable!

Just received a pretty neat link (thanks, Niall) of a regular guy with a pretty spectacular voice. My mother will love this!

“Nessun Dorma,” when sung well, is one of my faves. Coulda maybe done without the Aerosmith at the end though!

THAT. WAS. AMAZING.

i love feeling like there’s absolutely nothing between the singer and what they’re singing. that guy’s got a stradivarius AND he knows how to play it.

As someone with years and years of vocal training behind me, I want to know how someone has technique like that without the luxury of years of lessons.

his sounds like a trained voice… but a natural one, too. i’ll bet it came easy for him.

Must have. Does sound trained, but really what training does is train OUT bad habits. Most people have them, but some don’t.

Well you were right. Your mother loved it. So did your dad. What an amazing voice. I especially appreciated the reaction of Simon Cowell. When this guy opened his mouth, Simon jerked to attention.
