Chapped Lips in Boston?

By Abby at 10:54 am on Wednesday, August 16, 2006

For Bostonians only: Have your lips been unseasonably chapped in the past week? Mine have – like Krispy Kremes! And an informal poll tells me that I’m not the only one. In my informal poll, I have asked 5 people who live in Boston Proper who all agree that lip chappage is way up, especially for the summer!

Ok, I’m an Atlantan, but my lips have been extremely chapped and burrrrrning this week, too. How weird that you would have a post about it! Do you think our lips somehow know that chapstick is no longer allowed on planes?

not my lips, but my hands have been prone to dryness and cracking of late.

If I had to guess, I’d say it was the sudden drop in humidity — although that may or may not explain Nicole’s Atlanta chappiness…to be honest, I’ll take some dry lips over the disgusting weather we had through most of July.

I live in Georgia, too, and my lips have been severely dry for almost a month. I was using Chapstick and Blistex now I’m using straight Vaseline. The corners are the worse! I’m getting desperate.
