Adventures with Dr. Lady Cutie Troublemaker

Life is in flux BIG TIME these days. I want to keep in touch with all of my peeps. The Internet is this beautiful thing. I can move to a brand new city and still stay in easy, near-daily contact with the people I love. When I feel connected to the people in my life that matter, I am unstoppable!

Another Game Night

By Abby at 12:15 am on Wednesday, March 22, 2006

This time, I went with me, myself, and I, and I ended up meeting many fine people from the North Bennet Street School. I’d never heard of it before, but apparently, they have very strong craftsmanship programs in several areas. Most of the people I met were doing either Cabinet and Furniture Making and Jewelry Making. There was one guy there in carpentry, and yes, I did ask what he knew about pole barns, and sadly, the answer was, "Not much!"

One of these Tuesdays, I’m going to play a game that isn’t Apples to Apples. I swear!!

As always, pictures! Here are a few to get you started:

Beer & Hippos!

I’m a surgeon!

It looks like you had a chance to play other games. Isn’t that a photo of you playing Operation? 🙂 The biweekly schedule continues … next one is on Tuesday, April 4th and then the 18th for the one after that.

OK! 🙂

You found me out. I was thinking about that as I blogged, but I didn’t really play. I took one turn, then we all got bored of it and moved on!

I think I was after Water on the Knee (or something like that) in that picture. I only took one turn, but I didn’t make his nose go off! The table lost interest in that game really quickly!

Hahaha! Yeah, totally naked and trying to get me to pick little pieces out of him. And when I messed up, he tried to electrocute me with his freaky Rudolph nose. That’s when I told him to get lost. You won’t believe what happened next! He started crying. I told him to stop his whining, and he just looked at me with that big stupid red nose and said PHOOEY!!

Weird people at game night!

I’ll be there! Kristin and I are hitting both parties, and we’re trying hard not to get stressed out by the recommended cocktail attire. Worst cas scenario, our casual asses get kicked out, and we head straight to the Kinsale.

Maybe the N Bennet peeps will be there again. Cool group. Either way, I’ll be there. It’s easy fun.

yeah, i’m not putting much effort in my attire either; i might wear some shoes other than my stan smiths… (there are plenty of other options.)

i think we’re going to head to kinsale first then head over to umbria around 10ish.
