Life is in flux BIG TIME these days. I want to keep in touch with all of my peeps. The Internet is this beautiful thing. I can move to a brand new city and still stay in easy, near-daily contact with the people I love. When I feel connected to the people in my life that matter, I am unstoppable!

[...] I’ve learned from a close friend that there have been several attempted (and successful) break-ins over the last several days (three on Friday night) on Sumner Hill, in the Revere St/Alveston St area. These occurred from early morning to very late at night. The man responsible is a white male of average height and build. Please keep your eyes peeled and report anything suspicious you see to the police (911). Oh, and as I learned at the police state of the district meeting in January, if you are using a cell phone, please call 617-343-4911.Thanks,Abby (whose heart is still in JP, even if she isn’t) Share and Enjoy:These icons link to social bookmarking sites where readers can share and discover new web pages.
Thanks for the recap of the meeting Abby. I'm glad to hear confirmation of the calling 911 question (ie. that one should call it for any emergency). I did that successfully on my cell phone when some nut almost sideswiped me going full bore through the red light on Centre Street/Green Street (this has happened more than once).

The only crime I've experienced firsthand in JP was a break-in back in '99... "Damn kids!!!"

Abby...thanks for going to this meeting. Boynton St. Resident here, and the neighborhood has actually improved some in the two+ years I've lived here. Still are the occasional piles of broken car window glass, but that seems to be decreasing. We love JP.

Following rule 8. I'm pretty sure Law 8 in The Postman says anyone may challenge for leadership of the clan. Kevin Costner invokes law 8 at the end of the move in a moving scene. Regardless I don't know what tribe.net is.

Go for it, or just link them here. The links work now, so a direct link might be a good idea. Either way, I'll see you next week.
