I’m suspecting the average number of iterations is about 3.5, based on comments left on other blogs that spread the meme. I was suspicious on the second site and certain on the third, but followed through another 4 or 5 times just because it got funnier with each repetition (but I have a weird sense of humor; your mileage may vary).

Kind of like the college legend about the fraternity that kept the archives of canned term papers for frat members. Supposedly, after the first 3 or 4 fratboys who turned in one particular paper in the archives got a C on it, the next one to use it got a B-, and the note on the paper from the prof read, “You know, I’m beginning to like this paper better each time I read it.”
