Adventures with Dr. Lady Cutie Troublemaker

Life is in flux BIG TIME these days. I want to keep in touch with all of my peeps. The Internet is this beautiful thing. I can move to a brand new city and still stay in easy, near-daily contact with the people I love. When I feel connected to the people in my life that matter, I am unstoppable!

Pet Instructions

By Abby at 8:28 pm on Tuesday, December 27, 2005

You have been prepped for a post about the crazy person for whom we are petsitting. I feel that my dad has already begun to explain the story. If I take any more of my time to talk about this woman, I may get homocidal. Instead, let me present to you a set of Pet Instructions, the likes of which noone has ever seen. I believe that the contents of this document may be grounds for commitment. Read at your own peril. Names have been changed to protect the fucking crazy!

I literally studied this set of instructions, very confused, for about half an hour in order to come up with this:

This graphs shows how I think. I found her loggorhea seriously baffling!

Luckily, the pets are great:

OMFG. I didn’t know you had those in an electronic form. That really is all you need to know about the lady to know she’s nuts!

Shoot, only three more days and “you are off duty after breakfast that day.” What more can you ask for? I’d bet she was a DI in the military in her former life.
MAN, on the other hand, must be one of great suffering and must either like it, or endures real well.
Truthfully, while “sweet and well behaved”, I gotta believe these animals found themselves a heaven on earth and they are taking full advantage of the situation. Where do I sign up?

Hahaha! I know. You think they’d each have a dedicated crystal goblet!

I can’t believe you people are actually reading the whole thing!! I had to. I’m glad to have others see this insanity!

Jesus Jumped-up Christ! I seriously couldn’t get through all that because I started to get a headache. I certainly hope she’s paying you ALOT!

NO! We’re just getting a discounted rate for my parents. That’s why Dad gave us the cash… you know… for our troubles.

I repeat, “Sometimes the discount isn’t worth it.”

Sounds like something I would’ve done, though I only have one cat. (sigh). Good thing I’ve chosen not to breed.

[...] Then was the play. In addition to my pals from dinner, Scott, Michelle, and Linda traveled from North of the Charles, braving the impending Nor’easter to make it. I even spotted crazy petsitting lady in the audience. I got a chance to meet Jess, a woman who was introduced to me by Laura. Now Laura is an American chef who lives in Paris. Jess and I both read her blog. So a woman in France neither of us have ever met in person introduced us. That’s why I love the Internet!! [...]
