Life is in flux BIG TIME these days. I want to keep in touch with all of my peeps. The Internet is this beautiful thing. I can move to a brand new city and still stay in easy, near-daily contact with the people I love. When I feel connected to the people in my life that matter, I am unstoppable!

Nicole,
That was a very impressive comment. Where did you learn so much about cardiology?

I have had this in the past, and the one time it was from Zoloft. It was a funky feeling for sure (the sky is falling!) and I only had been taking the med for 2 weeks. Needless to say I was told to stop. I haven't taken anything like it since '02.
Yoga would be a good idea.
Sorry you had this scare, but you seem to be like me, getting down to the nitty gritty and finding out what's going on. Take good care.

They offered both types of monitors, but my feeling was that the event has happened exactly once, and to wear the thing for a whole month in hopes (well, not really hopin'!) that it may occur again... it didn't seem too likely. The Holter thing may give me a little peace. I've also cut my Concerta from 36 to 27 and started cutting my Zyrtec in half.

The Dad is a real doc. His credentials are old, but before he was a shrink, he did internal medicine. He seems to remember an awful lot, too.

I'm still reading, too! The arrhythmia thing could be from stress, caffeine, etc. Probably paroxysmal atrial tachycardia. Sometimes those Holter things don't catch the episodes, so you then get to wear an event monitor where you press the record button when you feel your heart racing. Too much going on in your exciting little microcosm, Abby. I'll stay tuned...
