Arroyo’s Car
So we picked up an issue of "Spare Change," the homeless newspaper, and they are talking about the candidates for the upcoming elections. In the article about Felix Arroyo, in the very first paragraph, they mention his car… his car that was wrecked at the end of August right before we moved here and has now been sitting in front of our apartment for two full months. He seems like a wonderful man and a politician who really cares, and yet I’ve had these thoughts of writing to him to say I will vote for him if he just moves his car. The thing is supposed to be powered by vegetable oil, but from my experience, the only thing that powered that car was the tow truck that moved the car there the day after we moved in. I mean, "Welcome to Boston! Here’s a wrecked car that will always be in front of your house." Lame! I know he’s busy and all, but come on!

Maybe the car needs some corn, beans and tomatoes to get it going again. Or maybe it’s progressive to “share” his car with your yard for two months.
I saw your message at Friendster mentioning this blog today. Very cool! I hope you’re doing well.
