Adventures with Dr. Lady Cutie Troublemaker

Life is in flux BIG TIME these days. I want to keep in touch with all of my peeps. The Internet is this beautiful thing. I can move to a brand new city and still stay in easy, near-daily contact with the people I love. When I feel connected to the people in my life that matter, I am unstoppable!

Happy Belated Birthday, Aaron!

Aaron’s birthday was September 1st. It wasn’t the best day for a birthday this year, but we did manage a visit from Scott and Michelle, a trip to James’s Gate, and a real live ice cream cake from J.P. Licks!

A belated happy birthday.

I don’t think Dr. Dad was referring to Bush by that moniker, though. As is well known, Karl Rove is Bush’s brain, and Bush’s favorite nickname for Rove is “turd blossom”. I think Dr. Dad was acknowledging that the actions he was criticizing in that post were as much Rove’s plans as Bush’s.

Thanks for all of the birthday wishes, everyone. 🙂

The actual day was quite crazy stressful but it was fun getting to have my ice cream cake. I just need MORE of it! One of these days there will be a relaxing time. I have no idea when that will be but maybe someday soon. That would be so exciting!

Aaron, I’m so sorry I forgot your birthday. Wonder where my mind was? Let’s see, if it was September 1st it must have been in Chongqing! Happy belated Birthday!

Len, you got it right about Turd Blossom.

“If it was September 1st it must have been Chongquing.”

I love it. Anyone travelling in China has complete permission to forget my birthday.

Au contraire, monsieur Len. I thought Dr. Dad was referring to the head cheese in this descriptive monicker. But, isn’t that what makes this so worthwhile… we have several “turd blossoms” to choose from… But then Abby’s mom agrees with you so who am I to argue. Your point is well taken.
