Life is in flux BIG TIME these days. I want to keep in touch with all of my peeps. The Internet is this beautiful thing. I can move to a brand new city and still stay in easy, near-daily contact with the people I love. When I feel connected to the people in my life that matter, I am unstoppable!

Maps and Legends

As a power-surfer, I feel compelled to share some of the links I’ve found most useful or interesting. As a map addict (oddly, a map addict with no sense of direction), many of these links are to maps of the region since Katrina hit:

Lastly, I’m here with tears streaming down my face. Download these two videos (Thanks, EJ) and watch them:

  • On the Ground with Fox News (Yes, it’s Giraldo, but I’m so glad he’s there advocating his ass off for the people stuck inside the NOLA Convention Center): Quicktime, Windows Media

Looks like the 3oldmen.com aged itself right out of business. Maybe because the main contributor is offplaying in the Far East and not having anyone watch the store?

Just so you’ll know:
NEW YORK — A Manhattan man was arrested Wednesday and charged with public lewdness after a rider in a subway car used her camera phone to snap a photo of the man exposing himself and posted it on the Internet, police said.

Police identified the man as Daniel Hoyt, 43, of 261 E. 10th St. in Manhattan.

Hoyt, who co-owns the raw-food eateries, Quintessence, allegedly exposed himself on Aug. 19 on a northbound “R” train at Cortland Street, police said. The female passenger used her camera phone to get his photo, and the man left the train at Prince Street.

The woman filed a police report and posted the photo on a few Web sites.

Do you think he plays with himself and then touches the food at the restaurant?

Wow. Blogged about it. I’m so not eating at his eateries!
