Life is in flux BIG TIME these days. I want to keep in touch with all of my peeps. The Internet is this beautiful thing. I can move to a brand new city and still stay in easy, near-daily contact with the people I love. When I feel connected to the people in my life that matter, I am unstoppable!

And if you ever need to come by DC and crash... well here I am. :)

Memphis got off fairly light. I was wakened about 0330 or 0400 by some severe rainstorms, with some gusts of wind but little thunder. By the time I left for work at about 0500 the rain had moderated quite a bit, and the wind was dying down. By about 0730-0800 it was just a typical, post storm overcast day.

However, visiting http://www.weather.gov/ it was interesting to see pretty much all of Middle Tennessee under an inland hurricane/inland tropical storm watch for most of the morning.
