Life is in flux BIG TIME these days. I want to keep in touch with all of my peeps. The Internet is this beautiful thing. I can move to a brand new city and still stay in easy, near-daily contact with the people I love. When I feel connected to the people in my life that matter, I am unstoppable!

I was glad to help out. I've enjoyed your company for the last several months, and it was the least I could do in return.

And, for what it's worth, I don't ache today nearly as much as I thought I would, so maybe I'm not as out of shape as I thought I was.

Drive carefully, guys, and get there safe and sound....

Yeah, I hate moving. More than anything in the world I hate moving. I like to go to new places, but I hate the process of it. I just moved from Memphis to Denver, about a month ago. I'm thinking about staying put in this city for awhile. Moving just downright sucks.

Anyhow, good luck on your trip and unloading and life in Boston!

Per rule #8, I'm obligated to comment, as a first-time visitor. I think I got here because you're profile says you're a Throwing Muses fan.

Anyhow, If you're moving to Boston, best be rid of the Mini Cooper. I've seen potholes up there large enough to swallow one of them whole! And plenty of lesser ones capable of wrecking your car's suspension.

Good luck, and since you probably don't have EZ-Pass yet, be sure you have enough cash left for the drive up there to donate to all the @%*! tollbooths.

Moving isn't fun anytime, anywhere. I haven't done it for 19 yrs.
Glad you aren't headed for the gulf coast. Things could be worse!
Friends come through for sure. Us ladies can't be breaking our nails-lol ; )
Good luck A&A!

You're so very welcome & I hope for the best for both you as you head north. Keep your fingers crossed for those of us left here to wait and watch as Katrina and her remnants plow inland.
