Life is in flux BIG TIME these days. I want to keep in touch with all of my peeps. The Internet is this beautiful thing. I can move to a brand new city and still stay in easy, near-daily contact with the people I love. When I feel connected to the people in my life that matter, I am unstoppable!

Excellent point. I'm sure his friends have heard all about this. I can't imagine how school will be for him. I hope his teachers and the staff at his school make a point to keep him feeling safe while he's at school.

It sucks that his summer vacation is almost over; they go back to school in TN so much earlier than they do in CT. Hope he gets a break from all this mess, goes to Disney World or Hot Springs or somewhere, anywhere. Gets to be a kid for awhile.

It's hard to imagine being Zach right now. It's easy to understand why he's feeling that he's a lot more than gay, a lot more than a cause celebre', and he mainly wants to talk to friends he knows. In fact, that's probably the whole point of the story. Adolescence is a 'coming into being' that isn't particularly easy or clear for anyone. A few months ago, he didn't want to be under the LIA microscope. Now, he doesn't want to be under another microscope. Smart guy...
