Life is in flux BIG TIME these days. I want to keep in touch with all of my peeps. The Internet is this beautiful thing. I can move to a brand new city and still stay in easy, near-daily contact with the people I love. When I feel connected to the people in my life that matter, I am unstoppable!

Exactly. I can just see the DCS worker now... Little clipboard in hand... No visible gaping wounds? CHECK! Food in the pantry? CHECK! Beds? CHECK. Adults around? CHECK!

It's kind of like that with them. And really, I feel for them. Just knowing the reports I have personally made this year, and the complexity involved. These people are overworked, undertrained, and underpaid. If we'd stop having these fucking wars, maybe we could pay for our own, you know? There's just no money, no support from the people in power. Why's that? The people in power didn't have these problems. AND THAT'S WHY THEY ARE IN POWER! And if they did have these problems, they don't want to talk about them, because they want to fit in with the other powerkids. It's a vicious and sick cycle. Le sigh.

Abby, having talked with a dear friend in Memphis who is an advocate for students with disabilities, I am not surprised either that no charges were brought against LIA.

Bottom line: Children do not have rights.

What they are doing in LIA to Zach and others may not be "illegal" but that does not mean it is not immoral.

This story is only just getting out to mainstream America, and when they hear it, they will be pissed! (They BETTER be)
